Snow day

We had a snow day today. Greg has one tomorrow (I already had the day off). Normally we would be jumping up and down at the fact but the snow messed up travel plans for our Little Miss. She's headed to see her Grandma and Grandpa in AZ and she was supposed to leave today... only the airport shut down. She's leaving tomorrow. Whew. She was pretty upset but I was prepared and had several bribes and happy things for her to do today. She also was fine once she learned that she just had to leave tomorrow instead of today.

Anyhoo, I being the Mother I am wanted to get pictures of the babies in this snow storm since they are saying it is a historical snow storm .BUT it's only 25 degrees outside. That's cold. So, we faked it. I put hats on the girls and propped them against the window (okay maybe not a fake out but you can still see the snow, right?).

However, in the process of this gem I also got these two - which definitely defines life 90% of the time at our house:

I think Jemma is finally getting revenge after all those moths of Jaycie picking on her. :)

11 months

The girls turned 11 months old yesterday.

Wow.

It made me teary eyed for some reason. I think because I only have a month left until they are in the "toddler" category. Eeeek!

Anyway, I had this vision in my head a few weeks ago for their 1st birthday party invites. Let's just say it didn't work out. Here are a few photos from our attempt.

It was all good in the long run because apparently card makers don't realize how many of us have twins and there are just a small few to choose from. Our color scheme had to change and everything. Oh well.

Here is the one I would have used. They aren't wearing their cute headbands. And instead of sitting they are standing at the couch. But, cute anyway.

I know it's time to update. Past time actually but life has been nuts since we went back to school:

-I was sick, missed a few days of work but thankfully didn't spread it to the fam.
-Jemma finally got her top to teeth through. She's been working on that for quite some time. She is so much happier now!
-Jaycie is working on her top two teeth. Poor baby is swollen and grumpy. I sure am glad we don't remember cutting teeth. That would be horrible.
- Jadyn has been a awesome as ever. She really has become quite the big sis. She's learning to help feed the girls (with supervision of course), she picks up their toys each night, and she loves to play in the cribs with the girls. And I LOVE hearing the littles giggle when Jadyn is playing with them. It's awesome!
- Greg is busy with school, helping me out at home, and keeping 4 ladies happy. He's a busy man!

Anyhoo, This is me acknowledging that I've neglected the blog but I am aware of it and will get back to it as soon as I can! Here are some instagram pictures to hold you over :)
