Jemma Bean

Our little jelly bean is a hoot. She coo's all the time. She smiles at us. She knows what she wants and screams until she gets it. She sleeps like a tank, but if she doesn't want to sleep she screams! Anyway, I've tried to take more pictures recently and I just can't capture her smiling on my camera. I have on my phone, but then the quality is icky. Here are two of my favorites... of non-smiling!

I was feeding Jaycie yesterday and Jemma had finished. She was having her wake time just minding her own business in her chair and Jadyn decided to play dress up with her. Jadyn put minnie mouse's hat on Jemma and I couldn't stop laughing! What you can't see is the hole on the top that fits around Minnie's ears. Plus, Jemma's face is seriously like "Are you kidding me." I can't wait to see how this sweet girl turns out!

Last week Jemma ate first again and was hanging out in her chair while I was feeding Jaycie and when we finished I went to put Jemma down and she was totally passed out in her chair! She ate, had a bath, and I tried to get her as warm as possible - it worked!! :) What you can't hear is her snoring! She snores like a trucker! LOVE HER!

Swimming

We took the little girls swimming for the first time last Sunday. They did great! Their swimming suits were a little tight - I bought them last December, but we got them on and they got in the water. Both girls fussed at first but then settled down and seemed to enjoy themselves. After we played in the water a little bit we put them on the raft to float around.

Jadyn was especially excited to have her sissies in the water. Jadyn started swimming lessons this week. She did well last night but isn't too excited about going back tonight. :) We need and want her to be water safe though. Greg takes her because I can't stand the wailing that comes with leaving her. Greg doesn't like it, but he doesn't cry the whole time and Jadyn and I do! Haha!

Just enjoying summer!

Not a whole lot going on here - we are just loving Summer! I've figured out good ways to get out and about with the girls. The littles (I prefer littles over twins...I don't know why, but just go with it) draw quite a crowd when we go places so I have to answer a lot of questions. I've never wanted to be a celebrity and I am convinced now more than ever that I would make a terrible one! It's pretty bad when I'm sure strangers have recognized my fake laugh. I try though. If one more person asks me if they are boys you might see me on the news.... We don't have enough hair for bows and the littles have giant heads like Jadyn (and their mom and dad) so they end up with terrible marks if they do wear headbands.

Let's see.... we hit the 3 month mark last week! Yay! The girls are doing GREAT! Eating like champs, sleeping like champs, really - life is GREAT! Here are a couple of my recent favorite pictures!

I also love instagram. It's so much easier to grab quick pictures of the girls with my little devices than it is to always get out the big camera. I would miss so much! Even though they aren't always the best quality at least I have the image!

Last night we had been out and we laid the little girls on our bed (both asleep...) and this happened:
