Things my daughter has said to me today:

I told her Daddy was bringing home a surprise and she said:
"Oh, I hope it's a new mommy"

WHAT?!??!!?!?!

Upon further conversation I learned she wanted a mommy doll for her babies.

Then later she said (jumping up and down with great excitement)
"I know what Daddy's bringing me!!!! A baby brother!"

Um, no. He's not.

While playing airplane (on my feet up in the air) she "crashed" and said:
"When Daddy gets home he can do it. He has better muscles than you. You need to work on that."

Thanks child.

However, my favorite tonight was her sweet sweet words after wrestling
"Mommy, you are the very best mommy in the whole wide world."

Be still my beating heart.
